Little River Inn Rug Camp on the Mendocino Coast!
Our 15th year, October 28 - November 2, 2018, we enjoy Ocean views from each room, a rug show on the walls of our classroom all week, 2 talented teachers - Tanya Graham & Nancy Terhaar, plus several mini-classes and a slide show. There's more information on my LRI web page; check it out at Little River Inn Rug Camp!

Animal Faces!
The Rug Hookers in Grants Pass, Oregon invited me to teach a 3-day Workshop on Animal Faces, back in May 2015!  It was great fun; just like teaching portraits but with fur... and sometimes, tongues!

Puget Sound Rug School in Washington State, in March is a rare treat; Michele Wise and Sara Judith make it intimate and inclusive, challenging and stimulating!  It is convenient to Sea-Tac International Airport with nice accomodations and beautiful views. Check out Puget Sound Rug School to find out about next year's classes and teachers!

Hooker Hill Rug Retreat, each July. This little rug retreat is nestled in the Sierra's! Just south of Yosemite, the ECCO Conference Center is beautifully situated with the main building overlooking a pond with ducks, geese and swans. The Wool Poppies are a small ATHA chapter, but they are mighty!  and organize a great retreat.   I recommend this summer time fun!

Sauder Village Rug Event is the fabulous Rug Event in Archbold, Ohio each August!   They have lots of classes, vendors and rugs to show, plus they show the Celebration Rugs and you often run into many rug artists you've been meaning to talk to. Having taught there twice, curated a rug show once, and made many friends, I have intentions to return again and again!

Prairie Harvest Rug Hooking School in Edmonton, Alberta, each September!   Western Canada's venue for higher learning of Rug Hooking & Fiber Arts!   I've been wanting to attend this school for a while, so being offered to teach there this last September, was wonderful! It was great to see many old friends, make new friends and have a successful class. I'm anxious to see who their teachers will be for September 2018.

Pacific Textiles Arts in Fort Bragg, CA. They invited me up for a show of my rugs in February 2018, plus a presentation on the art of 'Rug Hooking' and a class! It was great fun sharing this technique with the artists in Mendo.

'Friends by the Sea' in Rockaway, Oregon, April 1-6, 2018.  My classroom is now in the Arts and Crafts Building with easy access; it is a great space and we all enjoy sharing our projects in the intimate atmosphere.  Arlene & Kathy put on a wonderful Rug Show and show case a Rug Artist each year; this year it will be Carol Fegles!    As always, it's great to see all my Rockaway friends and the beautiful Oregon Coast!  Hope you can join us, next year!

'Hiawassee Workshop' in northern Georgia, May, 2018. Linda Bell and I reconnected at Sauder Village and I'm pleased to be offering a workshop at her place in Hiawassee, GA. Seems that Linda runs a very fun workshop; several people have already signed up.

McGown Western Teachers' Workshop! We get together for the last week of June on the U of O campus; Go Ducks! Lots of creativity at this teachers' conference; something new everyday.    We take turns practicing the art of teaching rug hooking.    If you want to join us, let me know!
